This is setting up the Liveu. I like to do this a day before the event because it means when you get onsite, you've got much less to do and you don't have to worry so much, especially if the internet signal out there is not very good. So I would HIGHLY suggest putting all these sites into your bookmarks. (Links bellow)
So this is the interface you're greeted with the online view. So once the liveu is actually turned on, it will say online or tell you how many connections there are, and it will tell you the input and bandwidth and all that. But for the day before you won't have the live view on so these won’t display. So if you click on “select new destination” and then you scroll down to RTMP and you want the generic one, not the generic with authorization, just the generic one.
The client actually can't see the name at all so just label it something you’ll remember. Click the drop-down and then go down to “1920x1080, 25 FPS debug profile”. That's the one you want. If you don't have this right, then the interfaces won't work together and your stream won't work. Now, with your primary URL and your stream name, you have to go back into Vimeo.
So on the events page, click on the event, then you get to go up to the top, right corner and “click” next. And then up the top, you see “connect RTMPS” click to that. And then you copy this top URL again, just pressing this button and it'll copy it straight to your clipboard. And then you paste that in there and then get the stream key. You copy that. And you put that down here in the stream name on the liveu. So you don't have to worry about the secondary URL.
So next click “submit” and then it should load. Sometimes it's an absolute pain in the bum. Um, sometimes it actually won't work. Now it should all be setup and ready to go. Just check down the bottom of the “select destinations” page that it is displaying whatever you labelled the video
