Terms of Service
Stream Adelaide – Live Streaming & AV Services
By engaging the services of Stream Adelaide, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Live Stream Delivery & Failure
We will always make reasonable efforts to deliver a smooth and uninterrupted live stream. In the rare event of a technical failure (estimated <2% risk), our technicians will attempt to restore the stream promptly. If restoration is not possible, the event will be recorded and uploaded as soon as possible post-event.
Note: No refunds will be provided in the event of a live stream failure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote to secure the booking.
The remaining 50% is due 14 days prior to the event date.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices must be paid within 14 days of issue.
Stream Adelaide reserves the right to withhold services if payment terms are not met.
Overdue invoices may incur interest charges and late fees.
3. Late Payment & Debt Collection
If payment terms are not met:
A 20% late payment fee will apply to the outstanding balance.
The client will also be liable for any legal or collection agency fees incurred during the recovery of the debt.
4. Quotation Flexibility
All quotes are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time.
Stream Adelaide reserves the right to adjust pricing if:
Project requirements evolve
Site access changes
Additional time is required on site
Unforeseen technical or logistical challenges arise
Any adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon where possible prior to implementation.
5. Editing & Post-Production
If additional editing, pre-production, or post-production is requested beyond the original scope, we charge $110/hour for editing, plus any extra production or licensing costs incurred.
6. Wet Weather Planning
For outdoor events, the client must have a wet weather contingency in place (undercover or indoor setup).
Stream Adelaide will work with you to confirm a plan, but this must be finalised with enough notice for setup. We reserve the right to not proceed with outdoor setups in unsafe weather conditions.
7. Internet Requirements
To ensure reliable streaming:
We use a combination of bonded LTE (Telstra, Optus, and others) for backup redundancy.
If a high-speed wired connection is available onsite, we may prioritise it for stability.
Stream performance may be affected if no adequate connection is available and no prior internet support has been arranged.
8. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
Providing accurate event details, access, and setup timing
Ensuring safe and adequate power access
Granting timely access to the venue
If streaming cannot proceed due to missing information or access, the full quoted amount will still be charged.
9. Cancellation Policy
If the client cancels:
More than 14 days before the event:
A flat fee of $500 applies (if quote is <$2,000), or
25% of the total quote (if over $2,000)
Within 14 days of the event:
Full payment is required
All cancellations must be made in writing.
10. Changes & Discretion
Stream Adelaide reserves the right to modify these terms for technical, legal, business, or operational reasons. Any variations or exceptions will be communicated in writing.
11. Acceptance
By accepting a quote via email, SMS, or any written communication (including clicking "Accept" on the quote), you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms of Service
Agree to be bound by them
Written Confirmation of Deliverables
All required deliverables, including file formats, editing expectations, social media versions, grading style, or other post-production outputs, must be confirmed by the client in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to the shoot date.
Any verbal discussion, meeting, or online call regarding scope or deliverables is considered advisory only unless subsequently confirmed in writing (email or document). Stream Adelaide will proceed based on the latest written confirmation received.
Default Deliverable Standard
Unless otherwise specified in writing, the standard deliverable for all event and livestream projects is a live-switch recording and footage handover at the completion of the event, with basic technical verification (sync, audio, and continuity).
Any additional work such as colour grading, editing, cropping, reframing, or creating social-media-ready versions constitutes post-production and will be billed separately at Stream Adelaide’s current hourly rate for editing and production.
Changes or Additions After the Event
Requests for alternative exports, new formats, social versions, or any other revisions after the shoot date will be treated as additional services and quoted accordingly. Stream Adelaide is not responsible for variations between live-recorded footage and client aesthetic preferences unless explicitly detailed in the written deliverables confirmation.
Environmental and Venue Considerations
The client is responsible for ensuring the venue and environment are suitable for recording and lighting. Variations in ambient lighting, acoustics, décor, or audience configuration may impact the visual or audio result. Stream Adelaide will use reasonable professional judgment to adapt but cannot guarantee identical outcomes across differing venues or conditions.
Acceptance of Deliverables
Delivery of the agreed files to the client’s nominated storage medium (SSD, hard drive, or cloud folder) constitutes completion of the project unless further editing or services are separately contracted. Any disputes regarding deliverables must be raised in writing within seven (7) days of receipt.
